Halloween Weekend #1

October 16 @ 3:00 pm - October 18 @ 12:00 pm

Let us turn your terror into a treat. . . get into the ‘spirit’ of things with activities including adult costume and site decorating contests, pet and children’s parade with refreshments along with a haunted walk. Also, bring a carved or decorated pumpkin for a spooktacular contest or purchase from our Pumpkin Patch. This will be the spookiest weekend you’ll ever remember!

Think you can guess how many candy corns are in the jar? For just $1 per guess, you could win the entire jar of candy corn and 50% of the money raised! The other 50% will be donated to the Jimmy Fund to support a great cause. Guessing slips will be available all weekend in the Lodge, and the winner will be announced Sunday morning at Candy Bar Bingo!

Friday October 16, 2026

Purchase your pumpkin at the Reception Center to carve or decorate. Voting online must be submitted by 5:00pm on Saturday. Winner will be announced Saturday night at the dance at 7:45pm.

Saturday October 17, 2026

  • 9:00am Flag Raising Ceremony all ages, Flagpole at the reception center
  • 12:30pm Children and Pets Halloween Parade, meet in front of the recreation lodge. Free refreshments for children will be served. Followed by the all campground trick or treat
  • 1:00-3:00pm All Campground Trick or Treat for all children in costume, immediately after our Halloween Parade. Forgot your candy? Candy will be available for sale in our store limited quantity
  • 3:00pm Cornhole teen and adult, safari #4 (Gift Card Prize)
  • 4:00pm – 6:00pm Pony Rides, barn area ($)
  • 4:00pm – 6:00pm Open Barn Tours, all ages, barn
  • 6:00-10:00pm Haunted Walk $5.00 per person weather permitting. tickets on sale online. Four time frames to choose from 6-7pm, 7-8pm, 8-9pm, 9-10pm Proceeds go toward the Jimmy Fund. Walk starts under the Safari #4 pavilion and ends near the pickleball courts. Tickets are non-refundable LIMITED QUANTITIES (SOLD OUT) 
  • 7:00pm Halloween Dance all ages, Gainsville Road, lodge
  • 7:45pm Carved/Decorated Pumpkin Contest Winner will be announced & prizes will be awarded! Gift Card Prize 1st place $125, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50 Vote here!

Please vote via link posted on website and QR code posted in lodge. Link and QR code posted in the lodge and on our website at 5PM Friday. Voting will end at 4:30pm on Saturday.
