Counting Down to 2020 Camping Season
Guest Service Gems
Services throughout the park
Hi there happy campers!
Can you believe that we only have 9 days until we open? We are gearing up our team to prepare for opening on April 1st. Most of you reading this blog have probably joined us at least once before, some even more. In fact, we probably have some guests that know almost as much about the park as our team members! But of course, we have some guest service gems that I want each one of you to make sure you’re aware of!https://www.normandyfarms.com/guest-service-gems/
Wellness Center – Why not step up your glamping game with a relaxing massage while staying with us? Our menu of services offers 30-minute, 60-minute or 90-minute massages of all types including; swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, chair and even reflexology! To inquire about availability, book or even learn more about our massage therapists, check out our website!
Fitness Classes – We know you’re on vacation, but we suggest getting your 30 minutes of physical activity in by trying out some of our many fitness classes that we offer! During our Peak Season (July & August) our menu of classes is quite extensive. We offer Yoga 6 days a week, Water Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Pound, Boot Camp, and new this season, Walk for the Health of It! Interested in a private yoga class? Whether you’re looking for a relaxing, restorative class or a more rigorous, vinyasa flow class, we’ve got you covered. Our professional, registered yoga instructor will help you tap into a deeper awareness of your body and mind. If you’re joining us at Normandy Farms for a girl’s weekend, bachelorette party or even a birthday or anniversary, you must consider this for your itinerary!
Canine Coops/Potty Breaks/Dog Walking – Those of you that have been with us before know how dog friendly we are here at Normandy Farms. We want to ensure that your 4-legged family members are as comfortable as you are when staying with us. Our multiple acre fenced in dog park offers agility equipment, a dog washing station, drinking fountain, as well as canine coops. While you enjoy a little time by the pool or perhaps an afternoon of sightseeing, allow your dog to hang outside in the comfort of his or her very own custom Canine Coop, which is totally enclosed including a roof so you can rest assured that they are safe. The coop is also complete with a dog house and water spigot. Are you going sightseeing and need someone to let your dog out for a potty break? Look no further! (based on availability for $10/potty break). Please note, our dog services are for guests only and are not available Friday after 2PM and Sundays between 2PM-6PM. Allow us to take your dog for a walk around the park (based on availability for $20/dog/hour). Please note, our dog services are for guests only and are not available Friday after 2PM and Sundays between 2PM-6PM.
Guided Bike Tours – Depending on which road you travel to get to Normandy Farms, you may pass by the Gilbert State Forest which is located on the same road as our park. We offer private guided bike tours through the forest! The biking is rather challenging so you would need to be experienced in technical trail riding. You would need your own gear including a mountain bike (not a road bike), repair kit, helmet and water. Not recommended for children under 18. Tours cost $20/person. If you would like to head off on your own, our Reception Center can offer you directions as well as trail maps. Gilbert Hills is a 1000-acre state forest that offers 23 miles of trails through pine and oak. You can hike, mountain bike, and horseback ride, among other activities. The park is also part of the 30-mile Warner Trail that stretches from Sharon, Mass to Diamond Hill State park in Rhode Island. There are also 8 miles of motor biking trails.
Concierge Services – Whether your visiting Normandy Farms from afar, or from right down the road, our Concierge Service can be of great assistance to you! If you’re traveling to us for some local sightseeing, check out our travel itineraries that our concierge team has put together for the most popular areas including; Boston, Cape Cod & the Islands, Lexington & Concord, Salem, Newport and Plymouth. Our team heads out to these locations season after season to stay up to date on directions, services, amenities and of course, the dining options in each of these destinations! Our Concierge can assist with purchasing tickets, booking dining reservations, or finding an activity in our local area such as kayaking, mini golf or a day at the beach.
Kamper’s Kitchen Delivery – New this season, Kamper’s Kitchen will be offering delivery! The minimum order is $20 with a $2.00 delivery fee. Relax around the campfire with your family while your dinner is delivered directly to your campsite!
