With Easter right around the corner, its time for a camping recipe that uses those colorful, sweet, Easter treats: Peeps! Since Peeps are just extra delicious, colorful marshmallows, you could always use them when making S’mores! But if you aren’t camping this Easter Weekend or are looking for a great dessert to share with the family after your Easter dinner, you can make this extra yummy Peeps Peanut Butter S’mores Dip! It has all your favorite camping flavors and looks pretty too!
3 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 packages of PEEPS marshmallows
graham crackers for serving
Place the chocolate chips in a 9-inch oven-safe skillet in an even layer. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter on top of the chocolate chips. Cover with an layer of peeps – You’ll need around 25 peeps.
Heat the broiler on your oven to HIGH. Place the skillet underneath for 1 to 2 minutes, just until the marshmallows get golden and the chocolate chips are melting. Watch the skillet the entire time. If you find that the chocolate isn’t melted easily, turn the oven to 350 degrees F and let the skillet sit for a few minutes so it all melts. Serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping.
