Cool, fall nights are part of what make camping during this time of year great. Curling up around the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and spending time with friends and family are priceless moments that you’ll appreciate forever. The only thing missing is a warm drink to sip on. Since apple cider and fall go hand-in-hand, why not try this slow cooker caramel apple cider recipe. You can let it simmer all day while you’re enjoying the outdoors, then enjoy it later that night when everything is settling down. (And if you’re over 21, its great to mix up a nice, warm, cocktail with!).
1 Can of Apple Juice Concentrate
2 Cans of Water
3 Tbsp. Caramel
1 tsp. Cinnamon (*or 3-4 Cinnamon Sticks)
1. Wash and Slice the Orange. You can slice this any way since you’ll remove it before the Apple Cider is served.
2. Combine All Ingredients in a Crockpot and Simmer on Low for 3-4 hours
3. Remove Orange and Serve Warm. Stir Well before serving.
This recipe serves about 6 cups of this delicious cider, so if you have a bigger crowd to serve, you should double or even triple the recipe!
