Whole Wheat Campfire Pasta

Indulging while you’re on vacation happens a lot. There are sweet treats, fried foods, and a lot more things that aren’t so great for us. If you are looking to have a delicious meal and still stay on track with wholesome and nutritious eating, try this great campfire recipe: Whole Wheat Campfire Pasta. This has tons of amazing flavors and ingredients that you won’t feel bad about. Plus, you get to cook it on the fire. Nothing says camping like cooking a meal on the fire.

Whole Wheat pasta
Goat Cheese
Olive Oil

Cook the pasta at home before you arrive, rinse it in cold water then place it in an airtight plastic bag and refrigerate.
You can also cook the pasta in your camper before you light the fire.
Toss the pasta with the basil, garlic, tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the pasta mix into a few tin foil packets.
Add a sprinkle of goat cheese, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a drizzle of olive oil on top.
Close the packets tightly then place over or around the edges of the campfire for about 15 minutes or until they are hot.
Serve and enjoy!
