CODE OF CONDUCT: People who work together have an impact on each other’s performance, productivity, and personal satisfaction in their jobs.  In addition, how our team members act toward guests and vendors will influence whether those relationships are successful for our Company.

Because your conduct affects many more people than just yourself, we expect you to act in a professional manner whenever you are on Company property, conducting Company business, or representing the Company at business or social functions.

Although it is impossible to give an exhaustive list of everything that professional conduct means, it does, at a minimum, include the following:

  • Treating co-workers, guests, and vendors with patience, respect, and consideration.
  • Being courteous, respectful, and helpful to others.
  • Communicating openly with team leaders, managers, and co-workers.
  • Following all of the guidelines in this Handbook that apply to you.

Individuals who act unprofessionally will face discipline, up to and including termination.

We expect all team members to conduct themselves in an honorable fashion.  Honesty is an important Company attribute.  Therefore, any misrepresentation of facts or falsification of records, including personnel records, medical records, leaves of absence documentation or the like will not be tolerated.  Any violations will result in corrective action, up to and including termination.

JOB Summaries

Grounds Maintenance Crew
The bar has been set high by our Grounds Maintenance Team in maintaining extremely well manicured grounds. This position requires moderate to heavy physical activity. Duties consist of (but are not limited to) lawn mowing (hand and riding) and upkeep of sites and surrounding areas. Upkeep of sites includes moving picnic tables, cleaning fireplaces, raking, weeding, shoveling, and other duties as assigned. In this position you will be trimming and pruning shrubs, spreading wood chips, and maintaining flowerbeds. With over 100 acres, there is much to maintain and fortunately we have the best landscaping team in the industry!

Guest Service Representative
Come join our award winning team! We are known throughout the industry for providing outstanding guest service. Individuals will be educated in the application of our computerized reservation and phone system as guest service tools. Components of this role are front desk operations including Guest Reception, Hospitality at our entrance and exit station, extensive phone contact, and general duties as assigned. This position also requires good diplomatic skills when dealing with conflict resolution. Good communication skills, teamwork, the ability to multi-task, and being able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced environment will help you succeed at this role. Those candidates who possess an outgoing, warm and engaging personality will find this role a perfect fit. A GSR position requires standing throughout their entire shift (up to 8 hours). This position may provide support to Concierge and Sales Assistants.

Hospitality
Our gated entrance to the park is the first impression many guests have upon arrival. A Hospitality Host’s main task is to monitor the traffic coming in and out of the campground while providing superior guest service.  A host must be able to greet guests expeditiously while on their way into or out of the park making sure there is a car pass and the number of people match; to monitor foot and bicycle traffic; cars going into the Reception Center; guests needing Ranger assistance checking in; and selling firewood.  A host must have a keen sense of awareness while monitoring activity at the front of the park.

Housekeeping
Our expert housekeeping team is a major reason why we have received so much positive recognition in the camping industry. In this position, you will perform moderate to heavy cleaning tasks in the resort’s various buildings, including restroom, Reception Center and rental units. Thorough cleaning tasks include washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows, cleaning restroom facilities, and other housekeeping duties as assigned. Must be efficient and extremely attentive to details.

Junior Ranger
Our Bike Park, RC track and dog park are just a few of the fun amenities that our guests enjoy in our Safari 4 recreation area.  The fun continues with our 18-hole disc golf course, Gaga ball, corn hole, bocce, horseshoes, volleyball and an open-air pavilion and fire pit.  Our Junior Ranger oversees these recreation areas keeping them neat and tidy, interacting with guests while providing safety information, and building relationships so everyone has fun.  The Junior Ranger is provided support from our Ranger team and duties include but are not limited to raking, sweeping, and keeping areas litter free.  A driver’s license is not required; however, a bicycle is encouraged.

Kamper’s Kitchen Snack Bar
Team members in the Kamper’s Kitchen share one goal: to provide NFCG guests with a quality home-made, cooked to order product in an extremely fast-paced setting while extending the outstanding guest service that our guests expect and deserve. Completing guest transactions, cleaning, and stocking and assisting with a variety of kitchen related functions is part of a typical day. Your friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner will enable you to converse confidently and comfortably with NFCG guests in handling questions and concerns as they arise. Experience required for some kitchen positions.

Lodge Attendant
Our Recreation Lodge is the hub of activity at the resort. In this position you will interact with and monitor guests of all ages using the lodge. You will enforce facility guidelines and regulations and also perform moderate to heavy cleaning duties. Cleaning duties include (but are not limited to) mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning restroom facilities, and windows. This position also requires an engaging personality combined with strong diplomatic skills when having to deal with conflict resolution issues. Good communication skills, teamwork, the ability to multi-task, and being able to work well under pressure will help you succeed at this role.

Mechanic
Normandy Farms has a fleet of equipment that must be maintained. Duties include, but are not limited to cleaning and repairing all power tools, trucks, and tractors. Must have experience and be detail oriented.

Park Ranger & Overnight Ranger
Escorts guests to their sites, performs various errands for the Reception Center, and assists with the upkeep of all areas of the campground. A park ranger is also expected to maintain and enforce park guidelines; therefore an engaging personality combined with problem-solving skills is key in this role. Someone who can multi-task and prioritize is a must for this position. This fast paced position also includes maintenance work such as sweeping, cleaning sites, and raking. Knowledge of basic electrical and familiarity with RV’s is required. The Overnight Ranger is also responsible for checking and cleaning up restroom buildings, maintaining quiet hours in the park, reminding guests of campfire hours, and responsible for the non-medical emergency phone and is able to make decisions based on the needs of our guests. This position also requires basic use of a computer for an end of the shift report.

Pool Hosts
Stationed at both our indoor and outdoor pool complexes, a Pool Host must have exceptional guest service skills as well as keen attention to detail.  Safety and cleanliness are of the utmost importance. The position requires heavy lifting, standing, walking, handling of pool chemicals and testing equipment, and working in a variety of weather conditions.  This position also requires an engaging personality combined with diplomatic skills when having to enforce pool guidelines.

Recreation Counselor
The recreation program at Normandy Farms is top in the field for providing the highest quality and most memorable activities for guests of all ages. If you enjoy working with people of all ages, playing games and sports, being outdoors, and having fun, then a Recreation Counselor might be the right opportunity for you. This is a part-time position during the summer months, and weekends during the Spring & Fall.

Sales Assistant/Store & Gift Shop
Located at our Reception Center, our extensive store and gift shop is a major activity center. Here you will handle guest retail transactions including extensive cash register functions using our computerized point of sale system, stocking, and light to moderate maintenance of Reception Center and Campground Store. Maintenance duties may include, but are not limited to, cleaning windows, dusting, and general cleaning projects as assigned. This position also requires lifting up to 30lbs several time during a shift. As a Sales Assistant, you must have the ability to stand for an entire shift (7 hours or more). You can expect a large amount of guest contact in this role so your engaging personality along with a confident presence will play a key factor in making you the perfect candidate.

WORKAMPER PROGRAM

Work and play at one of the Best Luxury RV Parks as voted by USA Today! Nestled deep in the woods between Boston & Cape Cod, Normandy Farms is a luxury camping destination that has been a family tradition since 1971 and widely recognized as one of the premier resorts in the world.

Compensation: All hours paid starting at $16/hour.  Complementary campsite including water, sewer, WIFI, and cable.  Electric is metered and read monthly.  Looking for friendly couples at our family-friendly RV park. We have 400 sites on 100 acres of beautiful property with all the amenities and activities to make us a destination park. We need energetic, young-at-heart, able-bodied couples. Outstanding guest service skills and a positive attitude required! We are looking for a commitment from May 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025, and are flexible for early arrivals (April) and late departures (Nov 15). We ask for 30-40 hours a week for two people that are fully paid.  We provide a number of team benefits including discounts and complementary guest visits.
