Mother’s Day

Every May, we host a weekend dedicated to Moms everywhere. From free pancake breakfasts to a wonderful reception with chocolate fountains, games, and raffles, we love to pamper and spoil the Mothers that camp with us. Each year we read through numerous nomination forms submitted by family or friends for Mother of the Year. While we wish we could pick each and every one, we do our best to pick one especially deserving Mother.

This year’s Mother of the Year is a mom of 4: three girls and a little boy. Cooper, her son, was born 2 months premature, had a hole in his heart and has Down syndrome. After having open-heart surgery, Cooper is a healthy, happy and outgoing four year old. Taking care of Cooper and raising three beautiful, compassionate, and tolerant girls is a challenge, but this Mom has risen above and beyond. To lead such a wonderful family takes considerable strength, patience, and unconditional love. Congratulations, Patti Doyle!
